Snakehead Fishes – Science, Aquarium and Nature

This unique book presents all three genera with more than 62 species of snakehead fishes in over 800 photos, illustrations and maps. On 552 pages we provide information on keeping and breeding these fish in the aquarium, but also present their anatomy, history and their importance as invasive species, as food fish and the threat to natural populations.

This book will be an invaluable guide for aquarists and ichthyologists on the two families of snakehead fishes. The book was published in German in spring 2024. Snakehead Fishes – Science, Aquarium and Nature
