Background

I was able to gain experience with my first own aquarium in my youth and after a longer break since 2004 I have been fully involved again. The main field of interest are wild forms of live bearing tooth carps and since a few years goodeids. But also various other species off the mainstream and invertebrates find my interest. I have been doing aquarium photography as a complementary hobby since 2005 and in the meantime the photos enrich my articles in various magazines.
